Spend a lot of time bushwalking or 4WDing? Then OZtopo V3 are the maps you need! Note: This product is a Garmin compatible product and not a Garmin product but has far more track data and camping POIs than the Garmin Topo.  It doesn't auto-route streets like street navigators do but does display them. OZtopo V3 is the third and updated release of OZtopo. OZtopo V3 provides an alternative set of maps, suitable for use on Garmin GPS units. It has been designed as a detailed set of topographical maps suitable for bushwalking, 4WDing and general touring . OZtopo V3 Features: Contours to 10m, provided as a transparent layer for concurrent use with other Garmin maps eg City Navigator Over 2.3 Million KM's of roads, streets and tracks Over 768,000 KM's of 4WD tracks, fire trails and walking tracks Searchable street and road names, bay names and more (depending an GPS unit) Detailed coastline 318,000+ of Points of interest (Bays, Post Offices, Medical,...) Combined contour and road layer for viewing on a PC (Garmin basecamp or MapSource product is required for this feature) Contours be displayed at the same time as other Garmin mapping products, ie for a contour layer over City Navigator Loads into Garmin's MapSource product for consistency Can be loaded to most Garmin mapping units, click (bottom of page) for a complete list Licensing: OZtopo V3 is licensed for use with one GPS unit. Loading: To load OZtopo V3 you will need either a copy of a MapSource product (Trip & Waypoint Manager is the cheapest). Some GPSs come with come with Trip & Waypoint Manager.  OZtopo V3 comes preloaded on a micro SD (mSD) card. No further loading or registration is required so it can be used straight out of the box. If you require a version for loading on a GPS unit that does not have a card slot or uses Garmin proprietary cards, please call or email Upgrades from V1/V2: An upgrade from OZtopo V1 or V2 is available for A$99 inc gst. All upgrades must be processed via GPSOZ. Proof of purchase, original OZtopo V2 CD and serial number needs to be sent to GPSOZ when ordering an upgrade OZtopo V3.0 is licensed for use on the supplied mSD. The mSD cannot be duplicated for use on other GPS units. However the mSD card can be moved from one GPS unit to other unit if needed. (See FAQ licensing).
