The GR-500 from holux is designed to provide multiple purposes including Emergency, Security and Locating. With a built-in GPS the unit is capable of providing personal or vehicular security by using the mobile phone network. Simply install a SIM Card with preset phone numbers and depending on how you want to use it it will send a message letting you or someone else know there is something wrong.
It's capabilities are extensive, You can set it up to automatically dial out on a time interval you set or when a person or vehicle is moved. An SOS button is for emergency situations thus providing personal safety no other device can provide. The unit will also let you know if the internal battery is low so that you can be rest assured that the unit is powered.
