Rapid Map Garfield Pro
Experience the seamless integration of the Garmin GPS interface and GIS conversion. Users can create waypoints in GPS units, either by saving current location, or by manually keying it in. With GarField Pro you can now create waypoints on your desktop in any easy to use, intuitive environment. It also lets you upload and download waypoints, tracks and routes and is a 32-bit environment so WIN95B, 98 & NT are compatible.

By utilising an inexpensive Garmin GPS receiver you can collect waypoint and track information to a nominal accuracy of 10 metres, download it into your computer using GarField Pro, then seamlessly convert the files to ArcView shp, MapInfo Mif/Mid, AutoCAD DXF or MapMaster WPT formats.
GarField Pro puts you in the field WITHOUT a laptop for collecting fire boundaries, roads, walking tracks, etc., as well as labelled points such as gates, bridges, signage, habitats and so on. GarField Pro now makes it possible to efficiently collect information in the field to populate your GIS system.
